SWIMMING POOL ALARM
Description: The swimming pool alarm can protect any pool: a loud siren alarm goes off if an adult, child, or pet falls into the pool or another water area. The alarm sound is transmitted to a wireless external siren that is installed in the house. The pool alarm is designed to protect water areas.
The pool alarm is recommended for use with pools that are accessible to children whose safety cannot be ensured by other means. The design of the pool alarm prevents children from deactivating it. Prior to use of the pool, the pool alarm is switched to swimming mode. When the surface of the water becomes still, the alarm switches to the protection mode automatically. Thus, the alarm cannot be left deactivated.
Use: The swimming pool alarm is suitable for all water areas. It is recommended in particular for open swimming pools and garden ponds where there is a risk of a person falling into the water. All water areas accessible to children should have an alarm, as children like playing near them. The danger of slipping and falling into the water is extremely high.
Installation: The alarm is mounted on the edge of the pool using two screws. The alarm's detection tube is positioned so that it is in contact with the water surface of the pool. No cables are needed for installation of the device. The central unit is battery powered, meaning there is no danger of electric shock. The external siren is then installed in the house, so that the alarm can be heard clearly. The siren is powered by an adapter but is also equipped with a backup battery to enable the device to run in case of power failure.
