FSP-650 sand filter assembly with a pool pump 16m3/h
The FSP-650 sand filter comprises a base plate, polypropylene filter flask with a 6-way valve, pressure gauge and a glue connection ø50mm (PUMP, RETURN, WASTE). The base plate also supports a pool pump with a hair filter of 16m3/h output, which is connected to the filter flask by a hose.
Special filtering sand is used in the filter to capture impurities from the swimming pool water. The filtering sand is put in the filter flask and works as a permanent dirt trap. When the control valve is in the FILTRATION position, the pool water containing impurities is sucked through the system of hoses and pumped automatically to the control valve with a patented filter and then to the upper part of the filter flask. The water is then pumped through the sand, where it is cleaned of fine impurities and supplied to the lower part of the flask. The water then returns to the pool through the control valve. The entire process is smooth and automatic and ensures the full recycling of pool water through the filter and the system of hoses.
After some time of operation, the impurities captured in the filter impair the flow of water through the sand and decrease the flow rate in the filtration unit. This means the filter should be cleaned. If the valve lever is set to the FLUSH position, the flow of water is reversed automatically and the water is pumped from the filter flask bottom through the filter sand, rinsing the captured impurities, to the discharge pipe. When the filter is flushed, set the lever to the PREFILTERING position and run the pump for 30 seconds to 1 minute; set the lever back to the FILTRATION position to start filtering in the standard mode again.
(filtration sand is not supplied as a standard)
